TOFeeL or NOT

My situation is unique but at the same time seeing that I’m no different, just like you I am. Even after going through what I had undergone, realizing what I had been blessed to live through, it still has not totally sunk in. It was maybe a year into my situation after repeatedly noticing how people working under the age-old rules of group mentality, singled me out and placed me into the group labeled disabled. Despite my having just next to no problems on face value, “just next to” is the keyword because I did and do have a severe traumatic brain injury.

Let’s go to school for a second, two or three now why don’t we. Moderate brain injury is defined as a brain injury resulting in a loss of consciousness from 20 minutes to 6 hours and a Glasgow Coma Scale of 9 to 12. Severe brain injury is defined as a brain injury resulting in a loss of consciousness of greater than 6 hours and a Glasgow Coma Scale of 3 to 8. Like I was saying my situation is unique because the length of a person’s coma defines the severity of it and the doctors saw fit to keep me in a coma state for around a week and a half. That’s a good deal greater than six hours my brain injury, which is of the severe traumatic sort. Blood pressure, intracranial pressure, and heart rate all three things that can be controlled by drugs but are far better controlled by God.

Why title this, “FEELING”? There is a right and there a is wrong, feelings if relied on, will have you jumping back and forth as a chicken does minus its head. Therefore if I have learned one thing, it’s that you cannot go by feelings for they lie to you. I have tried to tell my girlfriend this, but no. Seeing that the particular situation in quest… has since “flew my coop” and I do not wish to… All that’s NEEDED AND/OR CRAVED is Peace. Oh yeah.

Oh yeah, I do not have all the emotions say a NORMAL person would have. In the hospital, it’s called Emotional Blindness- The clinical term for this experience is alexithymia and is defined as the inability to recognize emotions and their subtleties and textures [1]. Alexithymia throws a monkey wrench into a person’s ability to know their own self-experience or understand the intricacies of what others feel and think. Now before you jump to conclusions painting me out as some mass murderer, I must tell you. My God is far smarter than, He is EVERYONES BEGINNING AND END so if I keep Him first… Will not go wrong, I WILL not.

IamSIMPLE or SIMPLYcomplex and serve a SimpleGOD, I do.                                                   He is my Beginning and End my Alpha and Omega, yours too.                                                   All that’s needed is True Peace available through Jesus Christ.

PEACE,                                                                                                                                                      JMC aKa THEJessTER
